Installation of welded steel pipes, wire, and PVC pipes. On the quay by Kulturhuset Bergen (U.S.F.), Norway. October 1988.

Longest length = approx. 12m. Highest height = approx. 6m.

The ”sculpture” is a mobile mechanism that changes expression with the tide (high tide - low tide). It expands and dramatises movements of tide and waves.

The wonder of high and low tide lies in the direct contact between a completely local, separate situation and a movement that embraces the whole globe.
